AllThrive 365 (formerly Foundation for Senior Living) was founded to improve the quality of life for adults and their caregivers. Over time, it has evolved into an integrated care system enabling adults to age in place. With a mission centered on caring for society’s most vulnerable, finding a nonprofit executive recruiting partner with commensurate expertise was essential.

The Recruitment Challenge

The time had come to find a new Chief Financial Officer. Recognizing the advantages of partnering with a nonprofit executive recruitment firm, the AllThrive 365 Board undertook a search firm selection process. They asked Tom Egan to interview three search firms, and Duffy Group was chosen for its successful history with faith-based nonprofits.

The Strategy

Following a detailed intake session, Duffy Group focused its search on nonprofit organizations of similar size within the region, particularly in the behavioral health and real estate sectors. They identified finance professionals with strong forecasting experience. The CEO’s excellent reputation in the community, earned through his work with this award-winning organization, was a significant asset. Leveraging that reputation, the Duffy Group practice leader worked collaboratively with an experienced Duffy Group finance executive recruiter to build a strong candidate slate well-matched to the organization’s needs.
